When I first heard Tyr, I thought it was a joke. I could not stop laughing at their songs. Strangely, they started growing on me. I saw them at Thee Parkside in San Fransisco with Alestorm and Suidakra (I thought Suidakra should've been headlining). So bag on Tyr all you want, but their new video for "Hold the Heathen Hammer High" is fucking kickass. Viking longships, axes, swords and chopping down a christian cross. Tyr, my hat goes off to you and a big thumbs up for a solid TOP SCORE!
